The following organizations have done indepth studies on the ramifications of implementing the TILMA Agreement. Of particular interest is how this agreement strips power from local governments to create any public policy that ‘obstructs, impairs or otherwise’ restricts corporations from making a profit and the flawed logic that brought them to those conclusions. Please take note of the examples Colin Hansen quotes as reasons for implementing this insidious agreement and the number of participants the Conference Board of Canada uses for its ‘study’ (24 organizations in total – 11 from government and 13 from industry – respondents totalled 6 from government and 4 from the private sector.)

The ‘green throne speech’ is a joke. Under Tilma it will be virtually impossible to introduce any regulation that restricts investment. This is not a ‘trade agreement’ but an ‘investment agreement'.
